    question about the campgrounds

so does the campground have a RV storage option there? last time i was there i saw a bunch of campers around the entrance that looked to be in storage. Just curious about that and the price they charge... any info would help. just wondering if yall have info before i call tomorrow and ask.

Used to be $40/month and a long waiting list. But this was 8+ years ago...

Times two on the long wait list. Also, if a BIG storm comes in it is your responsibility to get down there and get your rig out. Not just hurricanes but I think that lot has a tendency to flood also.

Wahoo storage on Co Rd 4 (near the Oyster Bay Bridge/Plash Island) is $38.50 a month. I keep my boat there and there are campers there, too. Last year in the big rain it did not flood although there was water over the public roads going in (both Co rd 4 and 6). I could get through in my pickup but there was a small car that got flooded out on Co Rd 4.

People are shocked to see sharks in the water around here.

If you see natural water taste it. If it's salty it has sharks in it. If it's fresh it has alligators in it. If it's brackish it has both.
