He is well worth praying for. He's a really good guy and one of the best Spanish fishermen I've ever seen. I wish there were something more tangible that I could do.
He is a really good guy and could certainly fish (even though all his reels have the handle on the wrong side) A take away from this is to enjoy every sandwich and every cup of coffee. Tell the ones that need to know that you love them and spend more time looking at sunrises and sunsets.
Praying for you Rick.If somebody goes to see him tell him to hurry and get better so I'll have somebody to share the Spanish I catch with.
He and others have shared with me plenty, he sure enjoyed the jerky.... kind of a trade thing for us..... as David said ..... tomorrow is never promised , let loved ones know how you feel , and friends to , enjoy and cherish every moment and don't let the less important things fester..... as my bride tells me pick your battles wisely..... and forgiveness heals the soul

I talked to Rick this evening, he is home from the hospital and doing better. He says to tell everyone how much he appreciates the thoughts and prayers and asks to keep them coming.
Great News thanks for posting David.
Thank you for letting us know and keeping us updated, David.
And please let Rick know we are still praying for him!
Glad to hear he took a turn for the better.
Sending my prayers too for his recovery. I knew Rick for many years outside the pier and he’s been very helpful.
That is awesome
So glad to hear the news. Have been missing his humor on the pier.
Late to the thread but prayers sent till no longer needed, praying for a full speedy recovery
I visited with Rick on Monday, he is home from the hospital and doing better. He is very upbeat and looks forward to showing us all that you can catch cobia on a Gotcha (even though according to some it doesn't count :) ) He says thanks for the prayers and good toughts and to please keep them coming
