Thread: "Prayer Request"

Had a great week vacation at the pier 9/12 to 9/19. Found out at 5:30 am Monday 9/21 my company is closing the store I manage. Not a shock but unexpected. Not a problem as so far as work is concerned, we own 3 other stores in the area. Just the older you get the less apt you are to change. Lots of work to do later this week, store closing Thur pm. Would take another week and come down and "fish it off" but alas deer season has opened. Just think about me and my team over the next few days.

PS changed my avatar from the blind squirrel. Don't know how the new one will look....

Hate to hear that but at least you will still have a job. Lots of folks out there who want to work but cant find it. I hunt TN as well but had to work this weekend. I was planning to go in the morning but the weather man says washout and I don't like goat meat that much. Good luck!

Sorry this has happened. ...I hope there is something better in all your future employment.....that avatar looks familiar but not for Tenn.....the family must have been down from lake erie

I miss the blind squirrel. Hope he finds a good home---if he can't, send him to me and the cats will enjoy his company.

These days it seems things seldom remain stable in business.
But one door closes behind and another opens ahead.
Just keep your eyes and ears open, your hands folded in prayer (and your chinstrap buckled) as you plow through the obstacles:

After I lost my job (for the second time in 5 years), I turned EVERYTHING in my life over to Him.
Every day when I awaken there is prayer on my lips that He will guide me through the day.
And at night on my pillow, I give Him thanks for carrying through unscathed.

The blind squirrel shall return

Lived half my life one block off Lake Erie. Blessed by God with a transfer to Nashville 30 years ago ,,,,,,,because my store closed. Good things happen ��

That must have been some cold winters off that lake growing up.....your half way to paradise in the south....maybe time for 1 more move
