Pier Repair Contract at Navarre
I saw on their FB feed that Navarre is getting a new deck this winter:

There's been a lot of discussion on this forum about the condition of the panels on the GSSP pier -- maybe the state could get a number and a bid from these same folks.
Not trying to stir a pot or grind an ax, just an observation. 1 million plus for the re-do.

I heard them discussing closing down GSSP in November for a redo like that. It may have changed, but I am not down enough to keep up.

I was discussing this with an official from the state the day they were doing an inspection by boat. He said the plan was to close down in December and be open by March. He said he was just hoping to secure funding now. We’ll see I guess
I’ll be sliding into town March 10-14. Can you have it warm and sunny for me then? And also, how about having the fish biting??? :D
