That's what I was thinking.

Why not just put a piece of aluminum expanded metal under the cleaning tables then wouldn't have to be washed to edge.
I feel for you fellas that buy year passes.
Just called and found out no lights on the Octi yet. Been 4 months now curious as to what the hold up is?
If you are that worried about a bathroom and a sink stay at home! Pier fishing is about getting your eyeballs 20 to 30 feet above the water to see what's going down! If you're a brain dead jelly bone who sets his rod down all the time get your own boat and put extra holders in! You guys are missing the point big time! Be thankful that you have a pier that accommodates hodads and novice pier fishermen! Or you could go try P cola pier mid season and see how that works out for you!
They are "special"...

I imagine that wiring lights on something like the pier is not something they would let regular maintenance do, which might mean bids have to be taken from licensed contractors.
Probably half of us think we could do the job (I do) and half of that half might kill somebody.
I'm sure that's the deal, but again, four months SHOULD be plenty of time to solicit bids from licensed contractors and get the work done. As for thinking we could do the job - not me! I would SO electrocute everybody with my "handiwork"! Possibly the sharks, too, so there'd be that bonus!
Not to over complicate things, but I was on the pier yesterday and it looked like there were some new lights mounted on the pier pointed down (hanging on conduit about 4 feet under the girder) towards the water, probably not wired in if they are in fact new. But my point is that these lights looks like they would be in a wonderful position to tangle lines if someone was trying to fish under the pier or drag a good fish out from under.
I'm not known for noticing peripheral things - matter of fact I'm known for wandering in a bit of a fog as far as peripheral events or items (I can focus). The lights may have always been this way, but I ask, has anyone noticed that they have mounted new lights under the pier?
