I want one but can't see laying out 200 for intro level or 300 for upgraded model.

I hear ya DD, to each it's own I guess. I wouldn't of ever thought I'd enjoy a camera so much but they bring out a whole new perspective to things. Someone more knowledgeable with camera/photography than myself could really do some cool stuff with it. My biggest problem is the whole editing side of it, still learning that.

They are worth the price. The quality of video is amazing and you can find a mount to put them on just about anything.
