phooey--
That New Orleans sugar was downright bitter. I'll have to go out and kill some brown-eyed woodland creature tomorrow to make myself feel better.
Roll Tide, anyhow---that young running back, Henry, looked real good, and if we can get somebody to block for him, there may be some more fun in the future.

Looked like McCarron didn't have much support in the Sugar Bowl last night. Perhaps his teammates were looking past the game to a wild celebration in N O. Guess they forgot, N O win, N O party. AJ is the one that will suffer for his team's sub par performance; he seems like a good guy and hopefully will not slip too far in the NFL Draft.

You're right, Fin. Did you see the feature before the game about "The Other A.J."? ---The young man with C.P., also named A.J., who McCarron was helping? It put a lump in my throat, reminding me of a young man in my hometown who had C.P., and struggled mightily to overcome his body's limitations just to live a somewhat normal life. McCarron is a high-class young man, on and off the field---has a d@mned good looking girlfriend, too.
Anyhow, as a Bama fan, I guess I'm allowed to say that maybe the losses will be good for us---show the fans and players that ratings and good potential don't win games, just as happened in 2010.
Now, on Tuesday morning, I hope all the Auburn fans are grinning like a skunk eating yellow jackets. Y'all bring it back from Pasadena. Put it alongside the last one.

Saban's pre-game comments the last few days made me believe that he thought the team's spririt and morale was downsorta like why bother since its only for 3rd place? I don't think their hearts were in the game....

I think Oklahoma brought their "A" game.
Not to mention their defensive speed on the corners to make AJ less effective as a passer.
And their FRESHMAN QB had THE best bowl outing of any Okie QB.
It seemed every time Bama was poised to close the gap they would either hurt themselves or OK just flat out played more inspired.
Good game, but I was not pleased with the outcome either.(RETIRED) mostly.

I am confused tot why yeldon is even on the field it should h ave been henry and drake yeldon has proven he can't move the ball without a gapping hole. Alabama gave up 28 points they hurt themselves just like the auburn game and he kicker is so much in his own head he is done . Very dissappointed . The brothers got their tails whipped need to reevaluate line. I'm not a yeldon fan never have been he is overrated. Roll tide ...main problem is bob stoops mouth wish we would have shut them out be happy to see bama play like bama again

Me too, I hate that people have to go through what he does, but honestly, he seemed more happy than the majority of people I know, "I feel like I have the best family I the world." That was the statement that got me. I personally enjoyed that segment more than the game itself. Many of us (myself included) could learn a thing or two from him.I figure it this way, if everyone in the world had a lie clock, whose hands moved once every time they lied. You could use any politicians lie clock as a ceiling fan.
I’ll be sliding into town March 10-14. Can you have it warm and sunny for me then? And also, how about having the fish biting??? :D
