Pay to Park ?
How much are the pay to park fees ? I read somewhere that Vets park for free. If so, how do I get the free parking pass? Thanks in advance for any info. You guys always have the answers.

I went to the park office. They made one good for a year. I'm not sure if it will work at the pier but it's good at the pavilion. So I would think so. I have an ID card from the VA. Service connected. So I have benefits on NAS.

The fee rate schedule is still being finalized.
We can expect a news release in a couple of weeks...

Sure hope they use the money gathered up at the Pier lot to go ahead and get the Pier repaired.

If you pay to park will that be included in the pier fishing fee. Example if I pay 3 to park do I pay 6 to fish.

I know it won't happen, but combining parking and 1 full pier fee at the gate, THEN getting one pier fee waived with a parking receipt, would make non-fishing people look to a cheaper lot first. Extra dollars for the pier, and closer parking until the sun rises high and the tan-seekers get desperate.

Are the parking kiosks at the pier in operation now?

FYI,
They are not answering the phone at the pier house, so I called Park Admin Office. They said no, it is STILL free parking now.
But they said that will change in a few weeks.Women cry at the end of TITANIC.
Men cry at the end of GLADIATOR.

Still had “bags” over the kiosks when I was there today.

I’ll be sliding into town March 10-14. Can you have it warm and sunny for me then? And also, how about having the fish biting??? :D
