    Open heart went well

Surgery was crazy I guess I had a choice to man up and get it done or die.Huntsville hospital staff were great and had some great people work on me.Had a problem with my blood pressure after surgery getting to low so they adjusted it with meds and it great now. They had me get up and walk and by the 4th day I did 40 laps around the hall.Another problem I had was legs and feet swelling. So I got some meds to help with that.Dr Hoffman was the surgeon and, he saved my life.Thank god can't say enough about him and his great staff.Dr told me After 2 months I could try to fish again so I am happy about that.
So now I want to thank you guys for wishing me the best and that's went a long way more than some will never know.Hope to be on pier walking first in October.Keep reports coming guys need to read about your day on the greatest fishing pier in USA.God bless you all. Tom

Good to hear that you came out with few issues. Get well soon and I am sure that you can count on everyone at the pier to welcome you back.

This is really good news! Science has made great strides recently and we can stay active longer doing the things that we love to do! You'll likely be able to catch a mess of whiting and/or redfish in October. So stay on your meds and do what the doctor tells you to do. Thankfully, you had the right people there to help you, at the right time!
