Offshore platform
Anyone know what that 3 leg platform is just West of Alabama Point just offshore? I saw it driving by from the Perdido bridge today and it is not far offshore.

My email lit up about this today, they are using it as a staging platform to put in the new diving reefs:
"This jack up rig is mobilizing to install anchored reef modules at the Alabama Point, Romar Beach, and Pavilion circalittoral reef sites. The jack up rig will be positioned approximately 400 yards off the beach while installing the reefs then move to Perdido Pass to load supplies/materials each night for the next day of construction. We anticipate the construction to take between 2 and 3 weeks to install the 166 reef modules."Carl

I’ll be sliding into town March 10-14. Can you have it warm and sunny for me then? And also, how about having the fish biting??? :D
