New toy
While turkey season has been slow I've had the chance to get out and enjoy my new toy. A benjamin Marauder in .25 cal. I must say this rifle(within its limits) is as accurate as any of my high end rifles. Its now legal to take whitetail in MS with air rifles so i'm waiting impatiently for deer season.. o yea.. i almost forgot... the gun is super quiet thanks to the fully shrouded factory barrel.
anyone else hunt with large bore airguns?

Nice!
The Marauder is a very nice entry-level PCP, I wouldn't mind having one.
I wish you luck on taking a deer, you'll need to be very close (25 yards or less) and have a perfect vitals or head shot.
I hear the accuracy is phenomenal so those shots should be easy, a head shot should do'able out to 50 yards.
I've two Gas Springers, a inexpensive Beeman and a much nicer & expensive Diana RWS.
The Beeman has barrels for .177 & .22, the RWS is a .22.
Beeman is not suppressed and is fairly loud, the RWS is suppressed and quiet.
Both are very accurate and there aren't many squirrels left in our neighborhood.

I was just looking at a Benjamin Trail NP XL yesterday but I was looking at the .22 caliber. I can get it for around $280. I don't think I'm ready to drop $500 on an air rifle just yet.

stay away from the np trails, i have 3 and none have the accuracy of the marauder. spend the coin and be done forever.
