Can't confirm, but it sure would be nice.
When I started working in the Firearms Industry in the early 80s every Gun shop had Reloading, then ammo started to get cheaper and better quality Reloading started to fade out, Back then it wasn't as much a cost savings thing,I was to craft a better load ,Ammo makers then didn't have much to offer in premium hunting and super accurate target ammo. Now it's coming back as the price of all the materials and shipping keeps going up. The internet helped make it cheaper till shipping started to go up. I'm glad a brick and mortar shop is going to start stockings it.
I got into reloading strictly to improve accuracy---and it worked. I probably have enough loaded ammo on hand now to finish out my hunting career, unless I find a new best friend who has a couple of primo dove fields.
Confirmed with Frank's Place. I started reloading for accuracy, piece of mind and something to do for two hours every Thursday night during "Project Runway"! I really don't need a thing but the same is true of fishing tackle yet I seem to always happen to spend a couple hundred bucks stimulating the economy at J&M.
Haywire, I don't have a primo dove field but am pretty well set on hogs.
If you ever find a reason to get in the vicinity of Nashville let me know.
Can't kill them as fast as they multiply.
I recently saw bags of "hog lure" in a big box store next to the deer baits (sorry, nutritional supplements). Isn't that a bit like seeking shark and remora attractant for the octi?
On the main topic, after my neighbors run out of ammo in the zombie apocalypse, my skills will be in demand.
Though I haven't reloaded in a while, Franks has been my gun shop for several years. Frank and his daughter will treat you right. When nobody hardly ever had .22 LR ammo in stock, Frank would get some in every Tuesday.
I highly recommend Franks Place.
