    New Member Registration Problems

A new guy at the pier can't register on the forums.
    They get the following message.

    Ragnar Benson:
Never, under any circumstances, ever become a refugee.
Die if you must, but die on your home turf with your face to the wind, not in some stinking hellhole 2,000 kilometers away, among people you neither know nor care about.

If anyone can’t register, they can click the “Contact Us” at the bottom left corner of the page and email us their login info. Be patient, I am not always on line and it could take me a day or three, but I will get to it.

    Please send:
    Username ___________________ (No spaces)

Date of Birth: Month/Day/Year (I can’t register anyone without D.O.B. If I have to make one up, you gonna be older than me!)

    Password ________ (No spaces)

After You receive confirmation that you are registered, you can login and change your password if you want to.

Our internet guru has been AWOL since 2014 and we are flying on a wing and a prayer. I am a low-tech man in a high-tech world.

I do have enough admin knowledge to register new members and a few basic adjustments. Fortunately, I do have access to his account for paying the hosting bills.

People must use their own email address to register or I can't let them know they are good to go.

I just tried to register a new member who emailed his registration and couldn't do be cause he used a registered member's email instead of his own. Only one registration per email address is allowed by the software, and there would be no way to let him know he was registered.

People have to use their own email address to be registered.
