Greetings Guys and Gals ,,,,
John G invited me to join GSPF the other evening at a Alabama Deer hunting forum meet greet and eat at Boudreaux's in Daphne this past Thursday. I hate I missed the pier picnic , it sure looked like I missed a heck of a shin dig.
I'm getting back into pier fishing after a real long absence and looking forward to interacting with the members here and on the Gulf park pier. Tight lines and full coolers yall.

You'll enjoy the forum, Mike59! One interesting feature is the archived posts from previous years. It makes for a good general guide for what you might expect to catch and what people use for bait to catch those fish. Still, there's nothing like getting out there and getting your hook wet.
Another thing that is unique about this forum is that the guys are honest and they'll tell it just like it is. Personally, I'm happy for other people to enjoy fishing and I only wish everyone could get the same thrill out of it that I do. When "my time comes", I won't leave with any secrets about how I had success. Because what's the point, right? I think that's the way most folks are on this forum and they'll help you in any way they can, whether it's utilizing this medium or in person.

I’ll be sliding into town March 10-14. Can you have it warm and sunny for me then? And also, how about having the fish biting??? :D
