My Wife's 2nd Book Hits the Shelves.
One of my wife's life goals was to get two books she'd been working on published.
Many years on/off research and writing, rewriting and then a frustrating year of rejections from various publishers.
She was finally picked up by a new company, Anaiah Press.
They liked her first book so well they asked if she had more, her second was taken too.
The editors have told her that anything she writes they'll find a place for.
Her second book has just been released, it is titled Corroded, it is a Contemporary Young Adult/Fiction novel.
Fifteen-year-old Mary Lou Weber is suffocating in her sister’s shadow. Though she struggles to break into the light and claim her own identity—and the attention of the cutest guy in school—something always seems to pull her right back down into the role of Barbara’s little sister.
Down the street lives seventeen-year-old Ben Thomas, a lonely introvert who is captive to a sensory condition that makes it nearly impossible for him to stand in sunlight, much less talk to people whom he thinks could never understand his difficulties.
Her first book, Fortitude, was released in December of '15.
It is an intense Young Adult/Historical Fiction set here in Mobile/Dauphin Island and Florida during the onset of the Spanish American war 1898.
Growing up with a Creole best friend, sixteen-year-old Claire O’Farrell held little regard for the Jim Crow laws and the consequences of befriending those of a different color. But once she leaves the haven of her home on Dauphin Island, the reality of racial intolerance can no longer be ignored. Though she’s underage, Claire makes the bold decision to serve alongside Lore
Book three is currently being researched/written, it will be a Gothic Horror set in 1906 Montrose on Mobile Bay.Ragnar Benson:
Never, under any circumstances, ever become a refugee.
Die if you must, but die on your home turf with your face to the wind, not in some stinking hellhole 2,000 kilometers away, among people you neither know nor care about.
