A few weeks ago Karen said he got stitches removed and doctor released him.
But she wants him to stay home and regain his strength.
Maybe soon he will get to the pier...

I'm out of the loop. What kind of surgery did he have?

I just heard from Karen that Harley is doing a lot better but still hasn't regained his appetite and is still resting up. They think he might have gotten the injury trying to land a fish-tripping over a tackle box or cooler or something. He's hoping to heal up this winter and be back to the pier by spring. Prayers for this salty old vet.

Heard yesterday he was a little too active and had a relapse and was in more pain again. Hope he gets better. Miss that old friendly face.

I’ll be sliding into town March 10-14. Can you have it warm and sunny for me then? And also, how about having the fish biting??? :D
