Model Trains

Model Trains
If you ever had or have model electric trains, have children, grand children or you are a kid at heart; you have got to take time to visit the Train Museum in Foley.

Thanks Fin!
Many folks nowadays are too young to remember when (real) trains ran thru south Baldwin County to Foley.
Glad to see the spirit is still being kept alive there!

From their website...
The hours of operation are from 10am - 2pm. Admission is free.
(RETIRED) mostly.

Good point David, it is FREE, even though it would be worth paying to see. They do accept donations, but they don't ask for them.
The hours of operation are from 10am - 2pm, but only three days a week.
The trains are in operation on Tuesday, Thursday, and Saturday.

Yeah, I bet most folks don’t realize that when you turn east off of HWY 59, that hump in the road is the old rail bed. I remember the tracks being there; think the RR shutdown in the sixties.
