Me and The Jake
Did a little better in the turkey woods last week than we did the week before on the pier...

He worked his off the roost...it had hens with him and he killed him at 10:45

Mine never gobbled until 8....he died away around 9 after 15 or so gobbles...
Mine needed more than one shot....

Way to go, Doug and Jake. Better glue your hat to your head if you're going out the next couple of days. I hate what wind does to turkey hunting----almost a bad a what it does to fishing. Good luck.

Re: Me and The Jake
Nice birds! Glad someone is having good luck in the woods. I've only heard one gobbler so far and he only gobbled once. I shot this coyote yesterday morning trying to sneek up on my decoy.

I’ll be sliding into town March 10-14. Can you have it warm and sunny for me then? And also, how about having the fish biting??? :D
