Made 'er back & only 1 speeding ticket!
Well we made it back to MN. but did manage to get a speeding ticket in MO., first one in over 50 years. I suppose the insc. co. will cancel me out now. Really nice here today, as it was yesterday when we got back, 54 degrees and most of the snow has melted, which has colored the trout streams a little. Just right for water worms and crawlers, a little to cloudy for flies. I'm sure the walleyes are starting to stage at the dams on the Miss. and I will soon have a Walleye story for Haywire.
Thanks again guys for all the help that you have given me the past months.

Glad to hear about the safe travels back home. What part of MO did you get that ticket in Flyguy?

Thank you, in Palmyra, a tiny burg on 61, the speed limit went from 65 mph with 1 sign at 55 mph for about a block and I never saw it.
"If you are going to dance, You have to pay the fiddler". My son, who lives in Fenton, MO., near St. Louis, said that Palmyra is a speed trap and that they get a lot of them. I can see why. My brother, who deals in black market tractors, gets down to Sikeston a lot. He also buys a lot of tractors in MS.

Happy to know that you and yours are home safe and sound. Sorry to hear about the ticket, they can be a real paini mostly from the insurance people. There's a small town, Summersville WV that I go thru when going north that is the same way, 65 until you hit town then it drops to 50. Cop at each end of town and they will have 3 and 4 cars each stopped. They get you coming and going. A freezer full of Walleye and a creel full of Trout has a way of making a man not worry about things like traffic tickets.
Dance naked my friends, life is short.

All this trout talk makes me miss searching for bream(bluegill) beds and presenting a popping bug fly just right, then watching big momma rise to the surface to feed.

BigDawg---I've been to Summersville, W Va. and they don't give a single mph over the speed limit. I was lucky. My daughter lived there for a short time and it was an adventure for a lead-foot like me driving there.

Thank you for the condolences on the ticket guys, it helps. And thank you for the fishing reports, even though there isn't anything good to report, I and I'm sure others, enjoy reading them. Fishntime, you do a great job, a special "THANKS" to you. Big Dawg, you can send your rods up any time, we will put some big old guides on them and make them look pretty and of course I will bless them with Holy Water!

Actually almost every little town in WV considers speed traps a significant source of revenue it seems.

I’ll be sliding into town March 10-14. Can you have it warm and sunny for me then? And also, how about having the fish biting??? :D
