Lost "one of our own" today

A sad duty to report is the untimely passing early this morning of one of our dearest pier friends as well as a forum member here (BryanB).
He was also active for many years on the PFF...

Bryan was always quick to try and help folks out on the pier or answer questions or offer his fishing experiences either in person or by his outdoor writings.
Such as: Gulf Coast Closeup - Alabama's Orange Beach
Alabama - Great Days Outdoors Magazine Fishing, Hunting - Dedicated to Sportsmen and Their Families

    Bryan Bennett, forever young!!!

Save me a spot at the rail ole buddy ;-)
    God's peace be with you!

I work in a profession where I am constantly dealing with sickness and death on a almost daily basis, but this truly hits close to home. I am having a hard time accepting the fact that my friend has gone to be with those who departed before him to that eternal pier in the sky. This incident has really opened up my eyes to that fact that we need to cherish every moment, good or bad that we get to spend with our friends. We may never get to see them again, or see that most infectious smile that they had, or even have our to few and far between conversations on the rail during the spring while I looked east for the elusive cobia. I am going to truly miss you my friend and I look forward to seeing you one day. Love you brother and god speed.

Only knew him from the board but seemed a nice guy. Has he been sick?
