Thread: Looking for someone to help me and my mother unload a Uhaul to make some money

Hey all,

I have only been part of the forum for a few months now as I just moved to Gulf Shores in January. Because we are relatively new here, we still don't know a lot of people. So, I thought I would turn to the forum for a little help.

My mother is moving to Pensacola from the Atlanta area later this week (she couldn't stand being away from the grandkids), and will be driving down a 24 ft UHaul. She is going to be putting her stuff in to a storage space for a few months while she looks for a house and job. Anyway, my request is to see if you guys know anyone who might want to make some money helping us unload the Uhaul in to the storage area. She has a couple heavy items (couch and stuff like that) and it would just be me and her (63 year old woman) unloading it.

I was thinking a high school kid or college kid looking for money, or even a grown man who is just looking for some work. We could probably even use 2 guys. Assuming you or your help are relatively on the way, I could pick them up on my way to Pensacola (I live in Gulf Shores). It shouldn't take more than 3-5 hours because we are just moving it from the truck to the storage area. She will definitely make it worth your while. I think she is looking at Thursday, but if anything is pushed back it might mean a bit later in the week.
