I get behind them too. I'm told by some that I need to be more patient. Slowpokes need to get out of the left lane. I dream of a limited access 70 mph highway going from I65 all the way to County Road 8. Then the area will be so developed it will be as congested as Panama City.
When I die I want to go peacefully in my sleep, like grandpa. Not screaming and yelling like the passengers in his car.
Maybe so, but getting older (that's me) sure beats the #$%^ out of the alternative...
In there defence......when I am in a very unfamiliar area, I tend to slow down when lookkng for a certain business.....down there I can see how the line of condo's could be overwhelming for some people, looking for a certain one or address.....myself I am very familiar, and am usually in a rush to get where I am going. ....but try to have patience also......I am learning to have more driving a semi-truck now around the state part time

My second career I guess at 59 last year when I started.....now 60.....and winters are semi stressful....I see big pile ups on the news, and wonder why people don't slow down.....some truckers are absolute idiots...... those are missles running down the road......I do landolls and rollbacks.....moving big forks and cranes around.....and operating when customers need it.
Back when i was still physically working (70 yo consultant now) I used to haul dynamite and shaped charges in my pickup. People didn't give a dang about those big orange placards. I would always try to manage the distance between me and other traffic, but that was just an opportunity for some folks to shoehorn themselves in between me and the guy ahead.Quote:
