Karl Kug of the Tn. Titans from Caledonia, MN.

I didn't think of before guys. (dah!) but Karl Klug of the Titans is from Caledonia. He played football, wrestled and ran track for the Warriors. A really good kid! His twin brother, Kevin also lives in Nashville and is the personal trainer for Lady Antibellum, (sp) and her band. Kevin is also a peach of a guy. Karl & Kevin were on our State Championship Football Team in 2005, They were members of the 800M relay team that won the State, and Karl made it to the State in wrestling but didn't place. We had an 8th grader that was 2nd in the State at 106# last weekend. I must be getting homesick, just thought I would let you know.

Thank you very much for all of the kind words, and I'm looking forward to coming back next year.

    Flyguy,

Never met the Klug boys, but the world really isn't such a big place.

Been to Caledonia a few times years ago to register turkeys. Took many brown trout from Winnebago Creek in my time there as well.
Can't remember the name of it but there was a great restaurant in a big old white barn there somewheres. As gooda food would be hard to come by anywhere. The owner (an elderly red haired gentleman) would visit every table every evening. That place still open?

"Elmers" has changed hands 3 times since then, but now it's doing fine. It went through some lean years under 1 ownership.
If your ever up there again look me up, I can put you on some turkeys, trout & walleye.
