Through with the snow !!!
Thought we were through with the snow after the 16" we got last night ! NOT ! It has put down another 3" since 6:30 a.m. EST . and I can't see to the end of my driveway it is still coming down so hard . Due to be in GS next Thursday . With road conditions from here to there ,if I leave now I might get there by then .

In five months we will be crying about how hot it is and can't wait till it starts to cool down.

As much of a pain the cold and snow can be and all our wishing it away , I must admit , at the same time I am truly thankful for the snow . Living in a rural community, every one is dependent on a well for their water and without the abundances of rain and snow to replenish the ground water we would be in a heap of trouble .

I live in Athens just East of the "H" in the word Huntsville on that map in Limestone County and we got about 4" of wet snow. The power "flickered" off a few times last night because of limbs breaking but it stayed on the rest of the night. Aside from a 20' dead limb that speared through the garage roof we're in good shape. I'm ready for some warm dry weather.
I've got a new, never used, large 36" pier fishing net for sale with 30' heavy duty rope. Looking to get just $38 and no extra tax! Msg me if you want pics.
