J&M Tackle
Needed some terminal supplies so stopped by J&M tackle. Never ceases to amaze me on the quality of help John gets to help run the store. Mind you, I'm not a big buck spender, yet they always call me by name and help me locate stuff I can't seem to find on my own. Today it was a leader straightener, (bought 2), and the guy that helped me was from Pcola. He's helped me before, but I'm sorry to say I don't know his name. Anyway, when I need something, big or small, this is the place for me.
Thanks again John for the service you provide.

Think it' Duane, if it's the guy I'm thinking of. He gave me his name and number and said he was from Pensacola, when some friends were looking for a guide. Helped me a lot my month down there. Kid at Top Gun in Orange Beach got me on fish. So, I like several tackle shops down there.

Leader straightener is designed to get the kinks out of solid wire leaders. Never used one myself but Todd can let us know if it works.

I used them for 7 strand as well. They have a tendency to coil up like a spring if a fish hits it. These little stainless gems were only &2.99. They work on solid wire too. Some say two quarters work but never had much luck there. They make one out of leather for fly fishing to straighten the tippet but haven't been able to find them for wire, but sure enough, John G had them...

Back on topic, I have only had one chance to visit J&M Tackle. We were down from NC this past July,it was too dang hot to fish so I went to J&M. I must say it was the highlite of my vacation.
I’ll be sliding into town March 10-14. Can you have it warm and sunny for me then? And also, how about having the fish biting??? :D
