good luck, ours starts right after Thanksgiving for the week....I have only been out a couple times with the bow and saw nothing....the good thing is I didn't see the neighbors dogs up in the woods....but I think the damage has already been done by them running off the deer .....put out some corn so will see if that helps make them visit more often....and yes, legal in our state.....they use to bed down there all the time till the dogs got hungry

I bagged a fat doe this morning to start filling up the corners of my freezer where there aren't any fish.

I no longer hunt due to health problems but used to always have my first deer harvested before Thanksgiving. For many years our family tradition was to have deer steak, gravy, hot biscuits, and candied yams for breakfast about 10am (after early hunt) then have our big Thanksgiving dinner after dark to allow for an afternoon hunt. GREAT MEMORIES, but most of the participants are now gone....Enjoy today for tomorrow comes sooner than you believe.

My son got his first deer yesterday in MO
I’ll be sliding into town March 10-14. Can you have it warm and sunny for me then? And also, how about having the fish biting??? :D
