I'm sorry to say.....
Well fellows, I,m sorry to say that this is good by. I have had a wonderful 3 years down here and now it is time to go back to MN. I know that the fish are just starting to get active down here now but they are in MN. too. We usually spend 3 years at a place and then move on to a different area to see. Next Summer we plan to spend some time in Alaska and if I have any money left, we will Winter in Harlingen TX. We spent 3 years in Port Aransas, TX. and the people were nice and the fishing was good. But! one person, a local, said the the people won't be as nice in Harlingen as we are, and that is so very true. You people are great!! The Forum is great, the weather was great this year, the fishing could have been better but some of that could have been operator error. If any of you ever get up to SE MN. send me a PM and we will catch some fish, shoot turkeys, or deer and have a fine time. THANK YOU AND GOOD FISHING! Keep a tight Line! I will continue to monitor the fishing Forum because it is all most as much fun as fishing, but NOT catching! Keep Haywire on upright and on board, you for sure don't want to lose him, he is irreplaceable.

Best of luck to you Leo and enjoy Alaska. I hope to get there myself in the next few years. I didn't run into you this year when I was down for my all to short week in the winter. I use to move around on vacation but I haven't been anywhere but Gulf Shores the last 5 years. I make it down 3 or 4 times a year but think about being there every day. I may take a trip back to Canada with an old friend this summer. I went several years in a row but haven't made it back the last 15 years. Enjoy your new winter home but don't be surprised if GS/OB lures you back

I was blessed to have gotten to live in Alaska for 4 years, Simply the "Best Fishing and Hunting Anywhere" .
You will love it, I'd be there if I could get my Wife on board, She wants on cold,no snow, and to be not more than 15 minutes from the grandkids,
So good luck, be careful, and drop in now and then,

Best of luck on your travels and I have to say that I am the least bit jealous, but I'm stuck here in paradise. I appreciate the kind words, but I feel as old Sam Clemens said, that it makes me uncomfortable when people praise me and say kind things, for I feel that they have never said enough.
Don't forget us.

Hey, you guys are to much! I really appreciate all the kind words, the thoughtfulness, and "THE HELP" that you have given me the past 3 years. Chances are pretty good that I will make it back down the the OB/GS area. It is a GREAT area and you guys, and many others, make it the way that it is. You can be very proud of what you have done.
My son in St. Louis called my bride, when we were in Tupelo, MS., to tell us about the parade accident. So sorry, prayers sent.
Take care guys, and appreciate everything that God has given you.

I’ll be sliding into town March 10-14. Can you have it warm and sunny for me then? And also, how about having the fish biting??? :D
