We're good on our side of the street in Mobile, other side of the street does not have power.
Just little branches and leaves down in our yard but things sure did get pretty sporty between 2am and 4am.
4-7' storm surge all along the AL coast, plus the 14' waves hitting the beach.
Hope your office is OK Carl!
The Battleship Parkway (US 90/98) took a hit from high water!
Terry Scott @ Scott's B&T said water was 4 feet deep in their parking lot last evening!!!
Looks like the Bankhead Tunnel and Causeway have reopened now...

A few large branches out of my largest Water Oak, my kids spent an hour picking up all the smaller branches.
10.5 hours without power and other than that we are good to go.
I'm going to hop on the riding mower and grind up the leaves and twigs that blew down in my yard last night. Thankful that it's no worse.
Causeway did not open all the way. The east side is open now.
Scott's still had about 6" of water in the parking lot at 3:00 pm , was falling pretty fast but the tide is about to bottom and wind is still brisk from the south, so maybe tomorrow.
Meaher had been under water, but was drained now - still not open.
Glad to hear all of you folks down there weathered the blow okay. See you soon.
Be down tomorrow afternoon to assess damage and relieve the gulf of some troublesome fish!:p
Well, they're troublesome to me anyway and need to be taught a lesson;)
Well, Chilli..looks like your Son got his wish come true. Hope everyone is safe with minimal damage.
Just heard on the news, as far as rainfall the mountains of North Carolina got the most, over 10", not sure of exact location. There was at least one tornado to touch down late yesterday afternoon.
Wow those are some intense pictures! Makes me glad I'm in Illinois for once. Glad it sounds like everyone is safe down there.
Anyone know the status of the Four Seasons Romar Beach pier? I've got a reservation there for Thanksgiving and if the pier is out I'll change it.
Thanks!
Mike
