We made it home. As always, I want to thank the locals and other pier rats for the hospitality and making us feel we belong there. The fishing was not very good but we did manage a few bags of spanish fillets and 2 kings(one gifted to us). As Ronnie Vanzant said,"There's good people in Alabama." Thanks again.
Glad it was a safe trip,now dove season aint far away and I have a 4 day chance at them not sure where I want to start the season at this year. Hit Buffalo Springs last year with soso results,loudon or meigs this year probably :confused:
Southern hospitality at it's finest......glad you made it home safe with a little fish too.....I have returned with a baggy full.....and other trips with a cooler full.....just the luck of the draw in catching and mother nature's involvement
