AWSOME exhibition of the power of nature. I have fished this pier many times and got wet feet from waves - and a bit queezy from the pier rocking - but I am glad to see there was not anyone still fishing on the pier this day! But you can bet they were waiting in the parking lot for the storm to clear......

That thing looks like something from a futuristic fiction movie.
It spared the pier and came ashore - imagine the sandblast effect if that thing crossed a parking lot

Yep...in the 2nd pic, the "twister" has already sucked all the people on the beach up and even lowered the sand dunes, yet left all of the shoes and picket fence next to the sign
