Help!!
Guys,
those of you that have seen my post and PM's know I'm new to the Gulf Coast. I have to say I love living here!! The pace of life, the genuine people and not mention fishing. My family and I have loved the fresh fish from pier, baskets of blue crab from Bon Secour, oysters from Acme and The shrimp basket but I'm really missing the amazing barbecue joints in and around Birmingham. Dreamland in Ttown ( my alma mater), full moon, slick lizard, etc. WHERE CAN I FIND GREAT BBQ (ribs especially) down here if I don't smoke them at home? Need y'all's help.

Down South BBQ behind Fresh Market on Co Rd 10 headed to Bon Secour. Went there 2 weeks ago and got a slab for $25 wife said that was expensive but I ate all I could 1 night and brought them home and had enough for both of us that night back in Gardendale.

Thanks man!! I'll try it out! Love gardendale!! Coached lots of travel ball tourneys next door to you in Fultondale up on the hill. Played many rounds of golf at old castle pines too. Great city. Hope it's still growing and that interstate construction is nearing an end lol

Meant to mention how much I miss Sprouse's butcher shop on Tarrant rd too. Best cut of meat I've ever had. Visited often Tato!

+1 on Down South. I stop at that corner and get gas, live shrimp, a cooler full of ice and a BBQ sandwich at the shack on my way in to GS.

LA BBQ in Summerdale caters a lot of events here at 5 Rivers. Its pretty good Q.
We also had Dickie's cater out here a couple of weeks back, the pulled pork was about the best I have had from a BBQ joint in Mobile/Baldwin area. And the chicken breast was amazing.Carl

Can't beat Down South BBQ. If you find yourself in P'cola try Brothers BBQ off of Gulf Beach hwy.

I’ll be sliding into town March 10-14. Can you have it warm and sunny for me then? And also, how about having the fish biting??? :D
