I wonder if similar cause and effect misconceptions aren't behind the bans on shark fishing.

Sharks are obviously smarter than most anglers give them credit for.
They KNOW they will not be killed by anglers fishing from the pier. :fishing:
In fact, the humans obviously LOVE sharks and periodically feed them fish scraps. :eat:

I wonder how long before their ever increasing numbers discover a new food source just a few hundred yards to the west along the beaches? :
