    Happy New Year--2023

Wishing everyone a Happy New Year.
I normally don't make resolutions, but this year I'm gonna---I WILL fish the octi as soon as it opens.
Now, like a snake shedding its skin, I will shrug off the tribulations and disappointments of '22 and slither forth to meet the new year, one day at a time.
    Roll Tide.

Is there a schedule for the pier? If so, I missed it.
People are shocked to see sharks in the water around here.

If you see natural water taste it. If it's salty it has sharks in it. If it's fresh it has alligators in it. If it's brackish it has both.

The flocks of flying pigs roosting in the trees of your yard are the surest sign that pier repairs will soon be finished . . . or with luck a little sooner.
