My buddy & I fished that area a quite a few times last Jan. & Feb. IMHO, the best place to fish was up under the bridge, close to that first bridge support. I think that is where they are working on now. The wall So. of the bridge is a very NICE place to fish with the cement walk way, the railing and the benches. I didn't lose any tackle but I was fishing for sheepies right next to the wall. I didn't notice anyone getting snags but I don't know how they were fishing. They were a couple of guys throwing crank baits, which didn't make any sense to me, but what do I know. We didn't catch anything on the So. wall nor did we see anything caught but it is a NICE place to fish. I can't say that the boat traffic was a problem but we were fishing in the Winter time. I could see a lot of people using that area during decent weather. I'm not sure what you will see in Nov. but I would certainly give it a shot. Tight Lines!!!
