BTW, we've got the fryer covered, our troop trailer is well stocked with cast iron and burners. But thanks for the offer!

Looks really nice now.
does anyone now if there planning to finish it up to the bridge but rest is nice
I haven't had the chance to fish the pass. It looks like a nice place to try when I visit in November.
What's the water like? depth, current and snag hazards! Will it take a boat anchor to hold the bait in place when tide kicks in? Whats the boat traffic like within casting range? My local fishing hole looks more like a marina some days... it can be easier to catch a boat than a fish.
PS: I have been watching you tube snorkeling videos shot in the pass and off the jetties. It sure beats the chocolate milk looking water I typically get to fish.
Thanks,

The water (current) often runs swiftly along the seawall and it is subject to wave action from swells or passing boat traffic.
Usually they stay a discrete distance from anglers on the wall, but there is almost always 'that one' ;-)
The depth ranges from about 8 to 15 feet and is mostly rock boulders (man-sized rip rap).
One to three ounce weights usually hold fine (4 to 8 in strong current). Be prepared to loose a LOT of terminal rigs!
Many anglers prefer to slowly drift their bait with just a splitshot or two (free lining)...

More good news today as the City of Orange Beach began Phase 2 of the seawall reuse project which will extend the 'fishable' area northward to the bridge...
