Friday Mar 28 water 'surge'?
Did anyone on the pier or beach note a substantially sharp rise in the water level (or waves) around noon on Friday?
Apparently there was some sort of water level 'spike' at about that time which I have been able to identify from video taken in Panama City Beach which can be verified from water level observations from the Panama City Beach Pier

along with an almost simultaneous surge at Dauphin Island.

I know the wind was howling out of the north around that time, WKRG said we had some gusts up to 60 mph!

This was PCB yesterday during the "surge".

There's a cell phone video I saw on my Facebook feed but I can't get it to load on here.

Navarre pier had to close due to some of their blowout panels getting blown out by waves. That was in some news reports I read this morning.
