Fort Morgan accomodations
I am coming down next Wednesday night with my brother and father and hoping to fish the point/pier a few times. We are wanting to stay near the point so we can get back and forth to the place pretty quick. Any suggestions for which condo units would be closest ?

Try the VRBO sites for Gulf Shores/ Orange Beach. We have had success with it.

Fort Morgan is not near the pier - you kind of need to choose one or the other. If you have a boat then condos at Navy Cove are really convenient and near the point plus they have good fish cleaning facilities. Even if you don't have a boat the docks at Navy Cove make good access for crabbing and folks catch white trout at night. If you have any pets or small kids be careful of the ponds east of there - gators.
People are shocked to see sharks in the water around here.
If you see natural water taste it. If it's salty it has sharks in it. If it's fresh it has alligators in it. If it's brackish it has both.

I am referring to GSSP. I think we will end up at the Dunes. Close to Ft Morgan point and still close enough to make a trip to the pier.

Ok. My bad. The way I read it was that you were talking about the Ft Morgan Pier. Carry on. Nothing to see here move along.
I’ll be sliding into town March 10-14. Can you have it warm and sunny for me then? And also, how about having the fish biting??? :D
