Flounder gigging
Does anyone here gig flounder? I haven't done it in years, but I have all of the equipment and I'm looking to get back into it this summer. Any tips/ideas/locations for either wading or gigging by boat (I can do either)?

The whole west side of Perdido Bay. If you are good with a trolling motor all the way from above the 98 bridge south around each dock and especially the sandy areas between them. I put in at Lillian as long as the wind isn't out of the SE or E and won't turn that way while I am out. I start at the north and work SW until I get water clean enough to see. In the bay its all about the clarity. If I can't see in 2 feet of water I keep going until I find that clarity. There are some nice sandy areas just above Josephine. Also some nice grass edges just off the west side of Bear Point. What kind of boat do you have?

I’ll be sliding into town March 10-14. Can you have it warm and sunny for me then? And also, how about having the fish biting??? :D
