I’ve seen a bit online. Mostly mullet but some specks and even a snook
They appear to have mostly been in the shallow, dead end canals off Little Lagoon and similar locations (coastal creeks, etc.), and almost entirely silver (white) mullet.
But I've seen photos and videos of other species mixed in, even heard about two small tarpon. But VERY few gamefish (trout, reds, snook) fortunately.
Some of these fish I could positively ID...

Mostly on instagram but a little bit around Lagoon Pass on Bama Beach Bum’s YouTube video posted today. He’s the one that spotted the dead snook by the pier on the Lagoon side.
Yeah, here is the link to Matthew's video footage that he took Friday Jan. 24th.
I have seen NO evidence of fish kills in the Gulf. None ZERO!
But definitely a single snook near the pier in the Lagoon, and white trout, mostly pigfish and pinfish, maybe a speck or three ...

Thanks to all . I hope everyone, like me, who live 300 miles away appreciate all you folks who keep us informed. THANKS AGAIN.
I seen fish killed in Melbourne in the early 70's, we were snagging some monster fish out of the ICWW around Merrit Island. loved the fishing opportunity's as a kid there, fresh and salt water both in the same day. Dang I was young once lol
Honestly considering the severity of this freeze, I believe we came out OK.
Sure, LOTS of dead silver mullet were seen but relatively few gamefish when compared to the losses seen in Texas, Louisiana, and the Carolinas.
