Happy Fathers Day to all the Dads out there that brought up their kids and took the time to take them fishing.

In the late 1940’s or early 50’s my dad took me fishing on Tom,s? Pier in Gulf Shores at night. The water was full of phosphorus and every time a fish moved it left a streak in the water. It was amazing. The speckled trout were schooled all around the pier and we caught a ton of them. It infected me with a love of fishing for life. I could be remembering the pier name wrong but it cost a dollar for an adult to fish on and fifty cents for a kid. GREAT MEMORIES.
