Farihope Brewery
If you drink only Bud or Miller Lite, don't bother reading this post. I don't want to be an elitist, but you need to move up to better beer.
I bought a 6pack of Fairhope Brewery Amber this morning at Publix. Here is a short report:
I suppose it's an ale. Nice rich color and full, but short lived head. Plenty of citrus flavor from the hops but not as much as in some of the Sierra Nevada (one of my favorites) or Dogfish Head Brewery, ales. Has a nice rich mouth feel that lets the grain texture come through. Nice balance. A good lunch brew. At 5.4 alcohol, one an hour is probably a reason rate of imbibing.
With the balance of hops and grain, a good introduction to someone who has not experienced hopped brews.
I would buy again.

Sounds good ,but with my diabetes ,I'll have stay with my Miller 64 ,Less calories , fewer carbs ., not as much gas ,and I at times tend to drink more one per hour . I however , do wish I could try all of the new beers out there. I just like the names ,Fairhope , Dogfish Bluemoon ,Sierra. Nevada on and on .
I’ll be sliding into town March 10-14. Can you have it warm and sunny for me then? And also, how about having the fish biting??? :D
