ever eat sand fleas?
I saw on Bizarre foods a while back where they caught a bunch and pan fried in oil. Said they tasted like softshell crabs. So, anybody ever try them?

How are you supposed to eat them? I don't think I could pull them apart and find any meat.

I'd think they'd be a lot crunchier than softshell crabs. I hate getting that chitin stuck between my teeth---even from shrimp.

I've heard of using them boiled to make a stock but not actually in the bouilliobaise. (I'm sure there is a real word somewhere in all those random letters).

I'd rather catch the sand fleas and turn them into pompano.
I’ll be sliding into town March 10-14. Can you have it warm and sunny for me then? And also, how about having the fish biting??? :D
