Entrance to Pier
Sent lamar email the other day to see if we could get some more of the solar battery lights for the new entrance. Also about the possibility of the park taking over the camera on the pier house. We also talked about the possibilty of doing something about the carcusses being thrown over the side by the cleaning tables. My idea was to put big piece of pvc pipe so they could be dropped in and pelicans wouldn't be able to get them. He said the state was looking at purchasing a commercial grinder. Just wanted everyone to know what i was working on.

Last week I was fishing that area until cleaning began. Pelicans quickly ended that.

I applaud your efforts as always Tato. I, however dont think the solar lights are the answer for the entrance. They dont last long and are too dim to do any good as I've noticed entering before dawn. They are also easily run over as well. They need permanent street lighting.

Thanks for your efforts! The commercial grinder would be a fantastic addition to the cleaning station. I fished out of a marina on Lake Michigan that had one. They do an excellent job.
I’ll be sliding into town March 10-14. Can you have it warm and sunny for me then? And also, how about having the fish biting??? :D
