Still kicking through the dust here. We had 2 tenths of rain last week. That brings the total up to just about an inch for the past 3 months. There is a chance for a couple tenths this week, but temps in the upper 80's. Friday after work I put a couple tree stands out. Counted 15 turkeys out in the pasture. They have been feasting on my food plot seed, the big stuff anyway. They may as well eat it. By the time we get significant moisture, there isn't going to be enough growing season left to matter.
The Missouri State Trappers Association had the state rendezvous just a couple miles from the house this weekend. Coyote time will be here soon. That usually brings mud!!
