Due to the shark infestation, I’m considering Navarre Pier for the second week of October and looking at alternatives. Would appreciate any input.
    Thanks in advance.

Florida doesn't allow fish cleaning on public piers-according to one of FWC's finest. As of April there wasn't anywhere on their pier or nearby that had a cleaning table and a hose. He suggested going to some park across the street and using bay water.

Chillinfish about sumed it up.....I know Rich1 has done it across from the pier....when we stayed in Navarre (waiting on GS rebuild) it was done in the condo ....what a pain to make sure nothing got on anything

Then if you discard the carcasses in the water I believe you could be subject to a heavy fine.....something about so far offshore, why no cleaning on piers over there.....best to call FWC for clarificationFwc finest might camp out by or on the pier.....he sure was there when we were.....kinda camo'ed up

One of many reason I stay on gulf shores pier, I'll just deal with the sharks.....I plan on loosing many jigs to them (sharks) if they are fast enough

    Bill..............
