Well then, you will love this weekend!
Only on the Gulf coast can we go from mid-70s and tornadoes to a hard freeze with highs in the upper 30s/low 40s in a matter of days. They are calling for a chance of sleet overnight Friday in Mobile, sleet & snow flurries north of AL Hwy 84 and snow in Huntsville & Birmingham.
Friday Night
Rain, mainly before midnight. Low around 28. Wind chill values between 20 and 25. Windy, with a north wind 20 to 25 mph, with gusts as high as 30 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%.
Saturday
Mostly sunny, with a high near 40. Breezy, with a north wind 15 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 35 mph.
Saturday Night
Clear, with a low around 22. North wind 10 to 15 mph.
Sunday
Sunny, with a high near 45. North wind around 10 mph.

It's all propaganda I tell ya!
The Chamber of Commerce swears we will have clear skies, light winds and 70 degrees all winter long!
LOL Yeah we wish.
VERY likely the park will shut off the water on the pier this weekend.
That means NO bathrooms!
BTW, the NWS forecast calls for 70 degrees again next Wednesday...

True the weather in Gulf Shores is much like Nashville and subject to change daily. However as I grew up on the North Coast of America 30 miles west of Cleveland Ohio....the weather sucks every day. Don't wait on a good one just be thankful when one arrives.
