bopped another doe,,
buddy shot a pencil size water oak limb 10 ft out,so he clean missed one,,we have been passing 2, 4 pts every time we hunt,,they didn't leave the field when he missed,,we exercised the fat recovery lab,she verified he missed,then we let her "find" mine,,All in all a good T'day,ate so much it was an effort to suit up to hunt,,,19 degrees here in coosa at 7 am,,much better now,,Happy Holiday All!!!!

Well done. I spent a significant part of yesterday transforming my two does into venison burger. I always hope to get my meat supply in first, then hope a wall-hanger loses his caution during rut.
Funny thing---standing at the meat grinder makes my back ache a lot worse than standing at the rail on the pier. If I could just move my grinding operation to the pier----Naw, one seagull could destroy a whole batch of burger.
Hope your season continues to go well. Those pencil-thin limbs have saved a lot of deer and turkeys.
Be careful going home, sons wife is from upper Iowa, her grandmother passed today so they will be headed up shortly, hope all that is gone by the time you all get there
