Conspiracy to commit...
In light of all they crap that goes on in Washington I am calling for a "Special Investigator" to look into the First King contest. The subject was brought up in a thread in General Fishing Discussion a week or so ago titled "Spanish". The contest was said to have been conducted on a Facebook page. If you search on Facebook for Gulf Shores Fishing Pier you come up with at least a dozen pages. On none of which was I able to find the contest. Most were outdated posts. There are 10,808 members on this page. The "window of opportunity" for the first king is about 21 days. Someone starts a contest, to which there is a valuable prize, tells a couple of friends when it starts who gobble up the prime dates and disenfranchise everyone else. Todays liberal society demands that everyone is a winner so all should have an equal chance.
Of course you realize this is all in "jest" but with nothing being caught but sail cats on spit upon bait I figured we needed something to talk about

Everyone meeting on the pier are only discussing their grandchildren ;-)

Pretty sure all the dates are picked for the pier gaff. Didn't really matter to me I don't have a need for one anyway.

Yup. A moderator of Gulf Shores Pier Rats website posts it on their site as was done last year. Only difference I see is someone posted it on this site from their original post. I think it is their contest and not the GSP contest anyway...

That is correct "GS Pier Rats" is totally separate from this Gulf Shores Pier Fishing . com (GSPFF.com) or the Facebook one Gulf Shores Pier Fishing . com
I’ll be sliding into town March 10-14. Can you have it warm and sunny for me then? And also, how about having the fish biting??? :D
