Condition of wooden decking on the pier
I have witnessed several people (mostly female sightseers) tripping but not falling this week on the boards that are warped on the ends. I hate to EVER post anything negative here but it is just a matter of time before someone falls, gets hurt and gets a lawyer. I don't want this pier to suffer the same fate as the one at Fort Morgan or the seawall at Perdido Pass. I know the pier management gets a steady stream of complaints about various rules violations but who would be the person to speak to regarding this?

I stepped on a piece couple weeks ago about the size of a pencil. It went through my flip flop didn't penetrate the skin but I had to stop and dig it out with pair of needle nose pliers.

I noticed the boards as well this past weekend when i was down, i also saw one of the peir employees replace a couple of the worse boards out towards the octi, i think they are aware of the condition, but more than likely it all comes back to funding like usual
