Building a pier cart!!! ;)
We have had a pier cart from J&M now for 6 years and after seeing some custom carts the last couple trips and playing around with some ideas I have had for awhile I have decided to modify and augment my pier predator. List of upgrades: Bearings for rear wheels, added rod holders, a storage box for plano boxes, custom Baitwell for LY'S and now Pinfish haha...

How do you, or whats your idea to keep the Ly's emitted ammoina from killing them, I can see pumping new water when using the tank on a boat, what about for the pier? Other than a big tank with just a few lys? I would at times like to catch them elsewhere the nite before, and take them to the pier but its tuff keeping them live over nite, of course dead ones work too. Just wondering if someone has a better idea.

Re: Building a pier cart!!! ;)
The main purpose of the tank will be to keep pinfish, hardtails etc alive on the boat. So I decided to build two tanks on just for the cart and one for the boat. The tank will only hold a few LYs as we ribbon rig them up. As I draw and design this cart I am thinking about just building the entire frame and basket because this cart is too small for a big chest and baitwell.

Be sure to get wheels with quality bearings. With all the weight from the water your gonna need them.

I’ll be sliding into town March 10-14. Can you have it warm and sunny for me then? And also, how about having the fish biting??? :D
